You’re super busy—like for real. And I get that. I was the creative director of a busy web design firm for 3.5 years. I know you have tons of stuff to do, and babysitting a developer isn’t one of them. That’s why I’m here: you send me files, tell me what you want, and I’ll get what you need, when you need it.
My work is solid
Your clients pay for quality work, and I bring the best work I can on every project. I’ve spent years working my craft. Not only do my sites work, I always try to think about the best long term solutions. Here’s more about my Code Thinking.
I always meet deadlines
I set honest deadlines and meet them—every time. If there’s a problem, I’ll let you know as soon as possible so that we can work out a solution.
I’ll communicate well
You should never have to track me down to know how a project is going. Otherwise, what the hell are you paying me for? I’ll send you updates about where we are, even if it’s just a quick note that we’re still on schedule.
BONUS: I have a personality too!
Really? Yes, really! Although I do understand your skepticism. Most people who tell you they have a great personality also say things like “oh, my mom always tells me that I shine like the stars. I like to stand too close to people when I talk—oh, and I love chewing on drinking straws!”.
Yeah, like that.
I’m great at
I’m great at this stuff:
- WordPress Themes
- Responsiveness
- HTML/CSS/Javascript
- Python/Django
- User Experience design
- Problem solving
BONUS: I’m a graphic designer too
Really? Yep. I have a degree in design from CSU, Sacramento and know all about the fun stuff like color, typography, media, message, audience, etc. I even teach graphic design at a college. In fact, it bugs me that CSS calls it line-spacing and not leading.
